In nursery we have been learning what science is and doing our own experiments.
We have looked at chemical reactions by making milk dance!
We have investigated forces testing what toys and resources are magnetic.
We tested the theory “Are egg shells strong?” We placed 4 egg shells in a square and predicted how many books we could place on top before they smashed. Our highest guess was 10 but we managed to pile 24 books on top before the smashed eggs collapsed.
We talked about floating and sinking and tested our theories on different resources from around the classroom.
