Hi Everyone
I hope this email finds you all well and that you get a chance to enjoy at least some of the sunshine this weekend. Teachers have been continuing to provide home learning, supporting those children in school, writing reports, adapting the curriculum, writing policies and this week we added phone calls home to their job list. All staff really enjoyed their chats and I hope you did too. It was a bigger undertaking than we first imagined! You all sound like you are doing a great job in very difficult circumstances. Remember to do what works for you as good mental health is most important. I hope you have found the information about mental health helpful. It can be found on the website.
There are a lot of rumours flying around about the easing of the lock down. We really don't know anymore than you. There is the speech on Sunday evening to come and I will be in touch with the other schools in the Trust and with the local authority during the coming weeks. My number one priority has and always will be the safety of the children, the parents and the staff.
If you have an activity planned for VE Day then enjoy!
Have a relaxing weekend and stay safe.
